Nice everyday drinking pinot for $21. Cherry, Rasberry fruit and cola. Not a very long finish as this bottle has probably reached its potential for 2011. Drink and buy now if you can for $under $25.

(Au Bon Climat Santa Barbara Pinot Noir) #2; COLOR-dark; NOSE-a little dried cranberry; some leather and strawberry as well, but pretty tight overall; PALATE-great ripe cherry coming through; I like the bacon fat; also an undeniable spicy Egg Nog play on the finish that I like; a great amount of strawberry action; good solid length; the tannins are a little bitter on the finish; well balanced; I like this wine; it's quite good; GV-89

Plenty of fruit but not much else. Simple, finish too short. Fine as a cocktail wine.

Very fruit driven raspberry dark fruit. Enjoyable but simple medium short finish. Nice go to wine for lighter fare.
