Has matured well. Golden amber in color; citrus and floral nose; citrus and buttered toast on the palate. Excellent paired with baked haddock and lemon.

Past its prime for sure, but not undrinkable. Paired with a soba noodle stir-fry, it maintained some of what I remember was a mild buttery oak, and has also taken on more than a bit of almond on the finish.

Pale golden medium body wine. Opened the bottle and had the first taste after about 35 minutes. It was an average glass of California chardonnay with ragged fruit but 30 minutes later the wine opened with an excellent balance of big fruit, almonds, vanilla and oak. Very long and satisfying finish. A nice big surprise!

Sharp taste in the middle but otherwise a nicely developed older Chardonnay.

Most of the flavors have aged well, but it has developed an out-of -balance bite from the Chardonnay sharpness.
