Nase: intensive Aromen von Brombeeren, Cassis, reife Zwetschgen marmeladig, Vanille, Schokolade. Gereift.
Gaumen: trocken, mittel (+) Säure, hohes Tannin, mittlerer Alkohol, voller Körper, intensive Aromen wie in der Nase, langer Abgang.
Qualität: hervorragende Qualität
Trinkreife: jetzt trinken
Gesamturteil: Toller, klassischer Bordeaux. Jetzt in optimaler Trinkreife. Wird wohl nicht mehr gross zulegen. Tannine noch klar präsent, braucht entsprechend Essen dazu. Unbedingt dekantieren.

Very nice aroma, nice fruity, dark berries taste, but is lacking some houmf, missing lenght, tanins unpresent, etc. Still pleasant but not the greatest.

This is why I drink Bordeaux.
I know 2011 is an off year. But from the first sniff of this in the decanter, and as it unfurled over a couple of hours, I was captivated. And in the tasting, it lived up to the nose. Just lovely; leather, and funk, and armpit (in a good way) and gravel. Just a joy to drink. I'm so impressed. A delight.
