Color is medium plus ruby, with barely a hint of bricking on the rim. The nose is clean. The palate shows classic red fruit, with just a hint of oak. The acidity and tannins are medium plus, as is the flavor intensity. This wine is drinking beautifully and is surprisingly youthful at more than 25 years of age. Although it has been professionally cellared throughout, it certainly has been moved around several times over the years. I would not intentionally age it this long, but it is certainly a pleasant surprise.
