At X2O. Outstanding wine. Excellent balance of fruit and acidity. Developing that deep almost meaty component of flavor - reminds me of Meursault - without any of the "American Palate" buttery oaky flavor.
Light yellow color. A bit tight upon initial opening but after 10-15 mins in the glass, it really started showing nicely. Lemon custard, white flowers, talcum powder and green apple with some rocky/stone driven mineral notes. Similar flavors on the palate with the green apple and citrus notes coming through with vibrant acidity. Clean and crisp mouthfeel and finish. This wine will probably continue to evolve and improve. Unfortunately, this was my last bottle.
Light straw color. Orchard fruit, citrus and minerality. Certainly NOT the big fat oaky Cali chardonnay. I like this. Guessed that it might be California. Very nice balance of fruit and acid. Great length. I'd buy this one.
