Second time having some Lewis Vineyard offering from Dunham. The last time, a Merlot, I was very impressed. This time, with the Cab, again, impressed. Very. Lovely red fruit, tobacco and wood char on the initial nose (I did decant). Seamless integration of the above, tannins all smoothed out now. Probably half a degree lighter than maybe would have been a year or two ago, mellowing a bit. But just depth of flavor, broad spectrum deliciousness. Sad Eric Dunham is no longer with us. A true artist (he did the label artwork as well), gone too soon.

Let this puppy breathe and watch out. Delicious. Fruit, structure, finish, it's all there with some patience.
