Had a nice bouquet with obvious fruit forward aroma. The wine feel a bit flat but had good fruit (blackberry currant and fig with some earthiness) Seems to be a bit overpriced for the quality of the wine.
Opulent and lush, quintessential Napa cab. Dried tobacco, leather, deep earthy fruit, notes of iron and blood, segues to a tiny hint of green vegetal, eucalyptus finish. High acid, fine tannins, drinking well now. Pleasant surprise since it was purchased based on my wife's affinity for the Mercury Head dime on the bottle. If not super complex, it was much more balanced than expected.
