YES? For the price very good, not one of the great Fonsalettes (eg 1999) but a very nice wine, deep purple and some secondary aromas. Ultimately, not up the standard of a north Rhine Syrah of quality, but in its class very good.
90-91 pts

(Fonsalette Cuvee Syrah) Gorgeous nose of violets, cardamon, cinnamon, blueberry, smoked meat, white pepper. Keeps unfolding and gaining more aromatic complexity minute by minute. Huge blueberry is starting to come out. Some raspberry sorbet almost. What a nose! The palate has a very compelling crystallized fruit quality with tons of sappy fruit. Very focused sweet raspberry fruit and incredible inner mouth confiture. Long finish that has astounding purity. Definetly on the closed side but when this wine is closed is stil so damn expressive. Young and probably will need around 10-15 years of development to really strut its stuff. Great stuf.
