Broken cork and didnt have an ah so or anything similar. Into the wine the cork crumbles went. The previous notes from a couple years ago are still true. Loads of primary fruit still going strong. Also getting some secondary/forest floor+tobacco notes as well on the very decent finish. Tannins still definitely present. My first Cadence with some good years on it and can see why these are praised for their age-ability. I've had very young WA wines that are similar to this in profile and taste. This is very much ready to drink now, though with the acid and tannins left I'd expect this to go another 10 yrs.

I'm very much enjoying this Cadence Camerata. Loads of ripe black fruit along with black licorice, a hint of bakers chocolate, medium grain chewy tannins that impart a somewhat tongue drying action and a fairly long finish. Wish I had a nice steak to go with this.

We opened, poured through a vintorio and drank over a few hours. The nose was all fruit. The palate was red plums, some dark cherry, tobacco and a touch of licorice. The finish was moderate.

(Cadence Camerata Red Wine Cara Mia Vineyard Red Mountain) An aromatically complex, dazzling wine with red currant, scorched earth, mineral, and floral notes. The palate is highly structured and tightly coiled, packed with red fruit flavors and mineral notes. This is a complete dazzler that will age in the cellar for decades to come. Give it at least two years or an extended decant. 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, and 9% Petit Verdot.

Muted, polished, dark fruit, fine tannins, solid weight. Classy WA Bordeaux blend in a nice drinking spot.
