P&P. eye: medium ruby, 2mm fading. nose: Tahiti vanilla (strong, impressive), red berry fruit (red currant, strawberry), sous bois, mushrooms. palate: light to medium weight, good linearity and precision, solid acid base, tannis prominent and will grant 5+more years, some rustic edges that I doubt will smooth out. 17 Caudalie, stable. solid Village.

Earthy and mushroomy all the way, not too much fruit. Pleasant balance and acidity, a great village but too expensive.

Inaugural Columbus Ohio WineBerserkers Offline (Nick C's House): Aromas of black cherry, earth and anise. The palate gives a nice kick up front, but the mid-palate/finish are fairly empty, with just a bit of lingering spice.

Dark, spicy, and full. Still youthful, but bold enough that the structure is well enough in check. Very Morey. Nice.
