Light red in color. 14.4% ABV. Sweet red fruits, baking spice and brown sugar on the nose. Medium body and acidity. Perfect texture and mouthfeel. Flavors of ripe bing cherries, pomegranate, cranberries, forest floor and cinnamon on the palate. The finish is exquisitely long with resolved tannins. Unexpectedly vibrant for an 11 year old Pinot Noir. Drink over the next year or two.
Sadly, this one seems to have died - I presume before its time. Initially sweet/ripe in the nose, this continued to get sweeter (not in a good way) with time. Nice color, I was expecting some nice phenolics. Alas, it was like colored sugar water, with a fruit essence.
Medium dark red color with some rust notes. Aromas of cherry, cinnamon, and tea. Palate has black cherry, tea, cinnamon, blackberry, and some plum notes that carry into a medium finish. Drinking well. Drink or hold.
