golden color, medium viscosity. honeyed nose with orange peel and cinnamon. after a bit, some petrol was showing on the nose. medium+ bodied, medium- acidity. this wne showed apricot, honey, cinnamon and christmas cake flavors. there's kind of a black tea component on the finish as well, which is medium+. solid, basic gewurz at a good price.

Typical "low end" Trimbach--dry, varietally expressive, well-balanced and good with food. Classical Gewurz nose and palate but not at all over the top.

Classic Gewurz aromatics, though not particularly expressive in this showing. Full palate. Good though unmemorable.

Striking gold color. Took an hour or so to come around, but when it did, it was a very pleasant match for some stinky cheese.

Nice food wine, went well with a meat loaf with sweet sauce.
