Listed as rose on the back label but it is a very light pink, really yellow with a tint. Nonetheless, the strawberry comes through. It’s a fruity wine, fine bubbles and good mouthfeel and weight. A nice sipper but but too little acidity to be food friendly. Well made and enjoyable but not as complex as Roderer Anderson Valley or the Cali Chandon.

The Sixth Annual World's Largest Blind Tasting of American Sparkling Wine (Houston, Texas): Retail $30. 90% Pinot Noir, 10% Chardonnay. On the lighter side, with barely a light straw perceptible and a shy nose of slight hints of caramel. Lacking sparkle but with good fruit and a lovely acidity on the palate, which more than makes up for the rather nondescript nose. Still, I feel this needs a bit more fizz. Excellent. 90 Points.

Pale pink-orange colour.
Medium intensity on the nose with raspberry, apple and pastry.
Medium intensity on the palate. High acidity, medium body, medium finish.
Enjoyable, balanced blanc de noirs with good length, intensity and complexity.

Tasting pour; brief note, indistinct red fruits and grapefruit, tart, good value, a bit overt.
