What a pleasant surprise, better than anticipated. Wonderful floral bouquet, very pleasing acidity on mid palate. Predominant apple with some citrus and medium, crisp finish.

Man is this good - and it got better with a little air. Yellow apple and some creamy lemons again. I'm curious if this could last another year or two in the bottle, but I don't have any more to experiment with.

Whoa this is really nice. One of the best values I've ever had. This excelled with artichokes, bread dipped in XVOO and olives. It also paired well with salad. Buttery lemon nose and hints of something pickled or fermented. This is a truly fantastic wine for the $$$. I guess I LOVE whites that can age.

This was on sale for $9. i thought it might be tired and dead, but no. A light golden color, it was a slightly challenging wine to drink, but in a good way. It made you take notice of it, especially on the palette. Smells of lemon custard and river stones were apparent at first. Later, as it warmed a bit, i noticed some gentle wood and lime. Agree with previous reviews of spiced apples also. Might get the other bottle left at ABC if it's still just nine bucks - and over 4 years old now!!!

This is an excellent food wine, especially with a medium to heavy pasta dish. It is medium weight with just a little bit of oak. Medium to light straw color. Good example of an "old world" white--not "over done." Medium-long finish.
