Ruby translucent color with a cherry, dried herbs and cedar nose. Multiple layers of deep, dark and red cherry, spice and cedar. The flavors are slightly darker and richer than the color would suggest. Medium to full-bodied with a mouth-coating feel and a medium + finish. Nicely balanced with just slightly drying tannins. Very enjoyable and flavorful. Seems to be improving in the bottle and drinking great right now.

Dark ruby color with a cherry, dried herbs and cedar nose. Ripe but slightly tart, dark cherry flavors with a good bit of spice and a hint of cedar. Nicely balanced. Full-bodied, velvety mouthfeel with a medium long, slightly acidic finish, and some slightly drying tannins. I enjoyed everything about this wine. A classic, well-made RRV. Another winner from Arista.

(Arista Winery Pinot Noir Russian River Valley) Medium cherry red color with .5 millimeter clear meniscus; floral, roses, raspberry nose; tasty, tart cherry, tart raspberry palate with woodsy notes, firm tannins yet and medium acidity; medium-plus finish 91+ points

However, nice perfume notes especially after an hour or so. Balanced but fading fruit

Bright cherries lead into a strawberry peppery finish.
Darker and more full bodied than the more elegant Pinot noirs of Oregon.
