Disgorged January 2015, dosage of 3 g/l, base of 2011 and 100% Chardonnay. Apple, lime, nuts. This has a lightly oxidative quality, with some finishing spine. I believe this is drinking well enough now, expressive and kind of soft, yet delicious....retasting the following day, kept under tight seal the bubbles are in good shape a day later. A yeasty note is prevalent today, along with some pounded rock in the aromatic. I would call this more complex today, more evolved, with some better structure and tension evident. The fruit remains an apple-centric wine, with some lime drizzle running through it, less oxidative that I can perceive, too. Very good.
