pale yellow, tasted over 3 hrs. Opened nose of honey and tropical flowers with a hint of nuttiness, at 3 hrs the flowers were gone with an lite honeysuckle nose and ripe green apple flavor. Mid palate crisp, rounded fruity melon flavors probably due to the Musque but enough acidity to be refreshing. Lite body more green melon than peach, balanced finish, not tasting tired at all at 10 yrs. Estimated drinking age for these wines is seriously under estimated on CT.

Straw color, rich mouth feel. Very nice citrus and grass flavors but the alcohol was a bit too dominant on the palate for first few hours. It definitley itegrated further with a extended decant and as a result, this wine should continue to get better. This is reminsicent of a rich Bordeaux Blanc.

WOW!! could be the best bottle of Sauvignon Blanc I have ever had. So complex with persitent but subtle melon, pear and faint carmel notes. The nose was explosive. The 2008 and 2009 of this wine have been standard setting for me. Like all truly great wine's list kept changing and getting deeper over the 2 1/2 hour's we drank it. I was sure if the nose or the palette where better. I wish all wine was like this.

(Araujo Estate Sauvignon Blanc) Pale straw with greenish highlights. Complex nose of wet rocks, green apple, pear, white peach, wet grass, and a touch of wax and vanilla. Spicy fruit and juicy acidity dominate the palate; the clean minerality lingers on the finish. Terroir: Eisele Vineyard

Just as good as the last bottle. This one I decanted for 1 hr. and it was off to the races from the get go.
