Coravin'd into a Pinot glass for 2 hours before sampling. Deeply colored. Showing no age. The aromas are both sweet and savory with roasted spices, black cherry skin and plum notes. Ethereal. The first palate impression is soft and somewhat viscous, showing real power and depth. Persistent flavors of black cherry, black plum and alpine herbs are focused with great balance and full body (best served a bit cool). Exceptional length and stamina, this is still a bit unyielding. 92 pts for now. No hurry here. 2019-2025.

Quite a feint nose, some dried herbs and red fruit - very smooth - lovely texture and very fine tannins - well judged acid and oak adding interest around the edges with touches of perfume - good length and a nice drop probably on the downward slope now but excellent none the less 3.5 to 4 fingers

Boerne wine club oregon pinots 2015: rather shy nose. On the palate a lot more dark blue fruits than the others with almost a hint of menthol

Very earthy nose with raspberries. Tart palate and not as sweet as expected given the vintage. Nice strong acidity on red fruited finish.
