MAGNUM Vintage Port (CUT restaurant Beverly Hills): Out of magnum and the second wine of the flight. Really a bright color, wonderful taste and finish.sweet spice, opulent.

Very special 53 year-old port. Definitely old and evolved: now a tawny rose colour and all the tannins have dropped out. Syrupy with rose petal, raspberry, redcurrant, and orange fruit. It lasted until day 2, when it became nutty.

NLWTS - Fortified at M&L Warren Street (Must & Lees Warren Street): Almost brown! Not a tonne of sweetness. But really quite emphatic and pruney. I think this is lovely - if not the most vigorous. Showed less well than another G70 tasted ~2 weeks ago.

Fortified Evening with the TWS North London Group (Must & Lees, Warren Street): Quite clear, browning. Brown sugar and christmas cake, strongly acidic, low register fruit now. High-toned, sweet, svelte, little left of any richness it may once have had but quite finessed.
