caressingly spicy, mix of cherry and baked pruny, cola-ish nose; refines some with air: a touch flowery. unctious, rich, mouth filling, tongue coating; some tannin, but obscured by sweetness. heavy-handed sweetish, cooked, jammy but fairly bright, fruity taste. too sweet for a dinner wine; ok with bbq, pizza.

Let it breath for a couple hours and consumed over 2 more. Has dropped a little color but the 2 hr car ride made sure all that fine sediment made for a cloudy pour. Very red fruited, a bit candied, acid a touch piercing and tannins fully resolved. Holding up quite well and really improved as the night went on. Starting to fade but still the best showing I have had yet from a 15 yr old Turley.

This wine is definitely past its prime, but still drinkable. The fruit has a bit more of a raisin quality to it and a bit of green bell pepper. I would open this ASAP.
