Did not disappoint. I have another bottle to go and will have it on our wedding anniversary next October. Had with a wonderful dinner of British Columbia venison and mushroom risotto. Decanted for one and a half hours

Took a couple hours to open up, lovey dark red fruit with well integrated tannins and good acidity. Did well in a vertical lineup but the 2000 took the WOTN. The wine has a lot more life ahead of it.
