  • Really liked this. Full bodied, very rich complex fruit but not over the top and don't notice the alcohol. Coats the mouth, great finish.

  • Garnet red color with minimal signs of aging. Initial aroma of orange cream soda. Within a short time, bright red cherry aromas started to reveal themselves. The wine was velvety smooth in the mouth with moderate tannins slightly overshadowing the acid. Mild, dark red fruit, leaning towards rock fruit flavors evolved. Wine was decanted and allowed to rest for 2 hours before drinking. Significant sediment in the bottle. When I purchased this bottle from the winery, my impression was big, bold, fruit forward Cab. It has lost a lot of this character over time. I don’t see a reason to hold on any longer, enjoy now.

  • This is a really good bottle of wine. Even if it's over the top. 3-4 hours of air lets some of the alcohol and extraction burn off.
Very opaque and full bodied. Big bold juicy fruit, a lot of it. Smooths out with time but would never be confused with an old world wine. Could certainly drink on it's own - we paired with rib-eye. Big finish.
    Love the bottle design.

  • Man, just way better than expected. Classic Cabernet typicity.
Tobacco, plums and cedar on the nose.
This is really in a nice place right now. Rich and intense, it is a bit extracted, yet with nicely resolved tannins and sufficient acidity.
This bottle remains all primary and secondary flavors, nothing tertiary yet. Possibly the height of its primal representation. Without knowing exactly why, it just feels like it may be on the verge of shifting from primary to tertiary development.
Drink now or hold depending on your palate preference.
