clear and medium garnet in color, mild aromas of exotic spices mixed with dried lavender and rosemary. Medium bodied with pronounced lush flavors of dried dark cherry with a touch of dark chocolate and finishing with a touch of orange zest, nice balance of flavor, acidity, and mature tannins all in balance. The wine was a touch cranberry-ish first pour from the bottle, no air time, but opened up pretty quick 15-30 minutes to a very nice drinking wine as described.

Medium ruby in color, with aromas of dark cherry, roses, and a touch of cedar. medium body with unctuous dark fruit flavors of dark cherry and black raspberry with a touch of dark chocolate on the finish. This was very well put together for the vintage, I don't think it will improve more with time, but it has the structure and fruit intensity to last for at least 2 more years before any turn down.

Monthly Tasting Group: An Embarrassment of Oregon Riches (Spoon & Stable, Mpls, MN): Medium dark red color. Drank a pour over 45 minutes. Very peppery, some heat, dark fruited. This feels like it has gotten a bit past the ideal window.

Good but a little light. Light fruit.

Definitely at the end of its window. Fruit is slipping, acidity rising.
