At or near its apogee, this is the quintessential expression of Perrot Minot red Burgundy. Wonderful extraction, no Burgundian barnyard, just pure French pinot fruit. Dark and red cherry core, combined with leather, oak and Asian spice notes, this wine is hauntingly delicious. This is the style of red Burgundy that I just love.

Beautiful mature delicate 1er Cru Burgundy. Nose explodes with floral mixture of lavender and roses. Smooth mouth feel. Taste is very soft with red cherry and slight tannin that increases with time on the palate. Delightful long fresh fruit finish.

full, fleshy, dark colored. medium deep. light tannin on the palate. a bit longer than medium length and has relatively good density on the palate, but lacks sutlety and complexity. the fruit a predominant now, lacks minerality and in my opinion delineation. a bit more warm climate in this expression. could've used more liveliness and fragrance. probably much better after another 5 to 10 years of evolvement in my opinion to get psat the fruitiness right now. consistent taste over the course of 2 hours in glass.
