  I rated this wine 80 in 2012 and 85 in 2010. This was clearly significantly better. The bottle drank in 2012 was probably corked as I noted leakeage in the cork and brackish coloring. This bottle was fresh and lively with good acidity, balanced and smooth. CT drinking window is thru 2012, clearly that was not my experience as wine is drinking very well now and shows no sign of being over the hill .

  I am sorry for my North American friends who clearly had off or rapidly aged bottles. This was in a perfect place, at least on opening and drinking (the last sip, after 2 hours, was flat). Silky, hints of vanilla bean (not oak), with almost no tannins, and a long finish, and a very clean mouth feel. I would not hold any longer though, and it is much less harsh than most NSG - almost Chambolle-like.

  2nd of 3 bottles. I had the first bottle 2 years ago and rated it 85. The cork had a little seepage, and the wine had the brickish brown colouring starting on the edge. Some fruit, just was not that good. My experience with French Pinot's has been very unimpressive. It also hurts that I way overpaid for the wine, never again!
