From a bottle that was purchased upon release and cellared in pristine fashion, this deep garnet wine was decanted off of its sediment and serially tasted over the ensuing three hours. Maximally aromatic after 90 minutes in decanter, it flaunts an intense bouquet of dried cherries, cocoa, anise, coriander, cigar tobacco and sandalwood. Full-bodied, low-to-medium in acidity, seamlessly alcoholic (14.9%) and with soft residual tannins, it delivers flavors in line with the aromas and has excellent mid-palate density. Long and silky on the back end, this is a mature, seductive Cabernet that is hard to resist. Comparably cellared bottles should reach their twentieth birthday with grace. Drink now-2025.

Deep and dark garnet red with slight bricking on the edges. Layered nose with stewed dark berries and brambles berries on the nose. Followed up by some savory nuances and gravel. Moderate tannins (6/10) and medium plus bodied. Lush palate with soft dark fruits, truffles, gravel and a bit of spices. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2022.

Color shows the age. Brick and brown.
Smooth and velvety. And showing a distinguished body and flavor. Tannins are still medium+ with years to come.
