Fully matured, well structured and still fresh and crispy. Chocolate, roast aromas, ink, graphite and mentholic notes in the nose. Mature, but still fresh red fruit, chocolate, ink, tobacco, caramel, licorice, light toast. With a subtle cask background and mentholic finish. A remarkable achievement in this difficult year.

Mature, dark red. Almost no sediment.
Nose is good with Bdx earth, red berries and a whiff of cows.
In the mouth this is (finally) mature and will remain on its plateau for many years to come. Superbly balanced, everything in place. I could wish for more complexity and intensity. But from this vintage, this is a stunner.
If you prefer your Bdx as "easy drinking" this ought to be one of the most attractive wines on the market right now 👍

Still going strong and you would not guess the age blind .Acidity is high and the fruit is still on the red side. I love the long finish with a bite of rhubarb.
