Winefool Going Away Party and Cellar Depletion (Jack's Bistro - Chicago IL): Tasted 2 days ago, note from memory. Wonderfully fresh and clearly still showing its ripeness. Very tasty. I was not expecting this wine to still be so fresh, but thought it would have evolved into something with more nuance.

Ruby tinged garnet showing some age. Wow this wine is showing so well. The nose is fresh and fruit driven with abundant blackberry, cherries and vanilla spice. Tasting the wine reveals a sweeter and fruity front palate, very smooth tannins and freshness through to the middle palate. Long finish of smoke, leather and chewy game. An experience for sure!

Bright red and clearly immaculately stored, though not in my cellar for most of it's life. Level 1cm above shoulder. Fresh as a daisy. Fresh red fruits on the nose, with a little dirt. Pallette of leather, spice, tobacco, earth. Long, lively and for its age, very young. Stunningly beautiful. Only downside is that I don't have many more bottles!

Lovely old fashioned nose of tobacco leaf, shoe leather, roses and lavender. Just a hint of VA.
Quite lithe on the palate with a mix of red and black fruits and a decent dose of black pepper. Plenty of acidity carries the wine to a slightly drying finish. Probably at it's apogee at this point - a lovely example of Georgia's Paddock.

Quite dark still, only some discolouration around the rim. Quite evolved on the nose, not quite clean, a bit musty, barnyardy, notes of wet leaves. Also spices, tobacco, leather. On the palate open, a bit tired, still well balanced, but drying out towards the finish. Good length. Drink up. 88-90
