That finish just hits like out of nowhere and you can picture the barriques and all the countless liters of wine that came before it in that damp place. Like it.   Colore rubino, etereo,amarana,pepe,pelliccia,medio corpo,un pizzico troppo aspro.Ho bevuto barbera migliori :)

  Drank over two nights, no decanting. Medium body, rather concentrated for a Barbera. Paired well with pasta with red sauce but not with Middle Eastern. Expressive nose and palate of cherries, cola, asphalt, with intense smokiness and noticeable salinity. Vibrant acidity and soft tannins. Nice.
