Also bought at Per Se. Big red fruit and a little barnyard funk on the bouquet. Initially gives mellow red fruit on the palate that is really nicely balanced with a hay and mushrooms kind of favor with just the smallest hint of peppery spice. The mouthfeel is vibrant....smooth and not at all overbearing, but no pushover either as it holds its structure. The initial flavors let up a bit after about 7 seconds and a really nice strawberry note emerges and lingers. This wine is really special. Thanks to Kevin for the rec...this bottle made an incredible evening more incredible!

Per Se - this was new to me. Better than okay. Beter than the Tondonia of the same vintage.
