Par contre le lendemain, vin resté en carafe, le vin se raffine, le bois s'assouplit, mieux intégré, cerises, mures, eucalyptus. Nette amélioration et pour le mieux

I have the same reaction to Chris Ringland wines, whether in Australia or, in this case, Spain: it's not that they are bad (although people who don't like big fruit would disagree), they are actually good to my palate, it's just that... there's no there there. I just don't get excited about them. Rich black fruit, good depth, length and balance, the oak present but well-integrated by this point. And not much else. It's odd that what is obviously a well-crafted wine seems so...meh.

Not getting better. The fruit is less sweet, the tannins are rough and the alcohol seems more prominent. These should be finished up.
