  This is drinking great now. For a $20 bottle of wine, this is outstanding. Excellent fruit and balance.

  About at its prime right now. This s my last bottle. It has masses of licorice and aniseed with coffee, chocolate and some chicory. There is a soft, almost creamy, vanilla undertone. It's all delicious, complex and everything is in such harmony. This is stunning for the price.

  Getting even better. This is big but polished, inviting, with a surprising sweetness. Semi-sweet chocolate, tobacco and coffee notes. Not the most refined or reserved of wines but it is quite expressive and has a winning personality. Not as good on the 2nd day - more wayward.

  This wine is drinking wonderfully right now. We never wanted it to end. Nicest bottle I have had in a while. Very complex...chocolate, leather, cigar box, anise....on and on.
