  • Quite a deep colour, medium body with bricking working it's way in from the rim. The nose has remarkably bright cherry fruit but it has some more developed leathery notes underneath. It feels lovely in the mouth, with ripe and juicy fruit, a taste of earthiness and acidity that drives a long finish with the merest touch of tannin. A really enjoyable mature burgundy, will keep for longer.

  • From my wife: Smells like poop (a plus)! Prune and acid flavor... Mixed reviews from a burg lover
From me: Still lively and great length. Ready to rock now. A beautiful L'Enfant! Classic profile...
