Murky, tired, aromas and flavors of licorice, barnyard, macerated cherries and red plums, traces of herbs. Medium bodied with a few gritty tannins on the finish that mellow somewhat with air. Inexpensive, but not interesting. Drink soon.

Another rock solid performance by an insane value from the Rhone; a little earthy diaper reminiscent of Burgundy on the nose along with red fruit that has rounded with some bottle age from the hard red Grenache fruit of its youth, the classic La Vieille Julienne meatiness was there too; on the palate the wine is still so fresh though the tannins have softened leaving a silky impression, some sweet tart fruit and the great acidity entice you to keep coming back for more- the bottle was gone so fast; poured double blind for a friend who initially went to Burgundy from the nose then finished on Chateauneuf after tasting it- I could not have agreed with him more!

We PNP'd through a soiree, dark fruit on the nose, dark berries and licorice on the palate, a decent finish. Easy drinking Rhone, good QPR.

last bottle from a sale (12euro). wouldn't buy it for normal price, enough other interesting rhones for better price/quality.
liquorice, garrigues, berries, bit of tannins left. nice rhone.

Liquorice, alcohol in the nose.
Garrigue, spice, sigarebox, little bit cherrie, and some tannins.
Not much fruit. Finish is quite long. Still going strong.
