A bit of petrol and oily texture on the open, but just marries so well witb the flavors. Citrus, but slight, bread yeast, slight hint of buttery roundness, fully integrated, acid in check but keeping this going. Color watery yellow. This is up there with some of the best chard I have had. Provenance is winery direct and 51 degrees. Wow. This has a decade or more left in it. I do like understated wines with subtle flavors. This has it.

These went to storage and I was able to keep my hands off for many years. Now — it is tough — these are in a great place. Loads of citrus and enough body to stand up to the bracing acids. Great finish.

Very reductive, and it never fully blew off. Underneath the reduction is a solidly structured wine, and it had some very nice elements, including excellent acidity and yellow fruit with a citrus note.

(Ceritas Chardonnay Heintz Vineyard) Light yellow color; appealing, tart pear, white jasmine nose; tart pear, mineral, tart apple palate with medium acidity; medium-plus finish

Corked. Too bad, because there was a very nice wine under the TCA.

Complex and fuller than most. Nice. Drink last one during next year or so.
