Have been drinking older Chards from the cellar. This one is past its prime. Finish is bitter and overpowers the oak and apricot on the nose and on first taste.

Young, needs some time to settle down. Honeysuckle, apricot, minerals and some smoldering vanilla on the nose. Palate is almost overpoweringly bright but settles down in the second hour, oak is strangely very prevalent, palate is also nearly spicey; mouthfeel is a bit disjointed. Very long, one-dimensional finish that is a bit off. Hoped for more given the winemaking lineage but still a solid attempt. I'll give it a year and try again.
