I've had a couple of bad showings of this wine recently. The last one was showing an oxidative character that was surprising at this young age, but its lack of acidity might be contributing to its decline. It was maybe even a bit more advanced than the previous bottle, but both lacked the freshness that I would want.
Another Blind Sunday (Kirk's Apartment): Color: Golden yellow Smell: rubber, golden raisins Taste: lemon, pear, honey, apricot, peach Overall: A little too reductive on the palate for me…it seems like it’s from a warm vintage. About an hour later the nose is screaming....unfortunately the palate still has not reached that level of readiness.
