  Not for me.
  To acidic, thin and lacking in personality.
  The nose is beautiful, typical and filled with diving into the behinds of cows on top of Bordeaux earth. Bet, in the mouth this wine is a far cry from the price it commands…
  
  Many more wines are available at far better and more attractive price points.
  
  It¡s easy! Any day, I choose 6 better bottles for the same price as this one bottle.

  Pronounced nose intensity with notes of cooked black fruits, toast, spices, leather, wet forest. Drinking at its peak. Decanted 2 hours. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Tannin is smooth.

  Lovely fruity wet forest on the nose. Strong elegance with plenty of layers growing with each sip. Full fruity body finishing very soft and long. Great wine from a not so great vintage.

  Had two small pours. Served from a decanter along with other 1998 Bordeaux.
  Medium garnet to tawny color.
  Nose offers leather and tobacco with some plum notes.
  Refined, showing off more tertiary notes of leather, old books, and dried tobacco than fruit. Tannins nicely integrated.
  Enjoyable.
