Still good balance- petite Verdot held this wine together. However it was past it’s peak- slightly turning to fortification notes and finish. Drink up if you have some bottles. Paired with Ben’s filet mignone.

I am sooooo disappointed... Garnet with purple overtones; plummy slightly jammy nose without a hint of oak, spices and a little cassis. Really did not hollar "Cabernet!" but still intriguing. Surprising light body, very fruity again with plums, red fruit, a little cassis, baking spice but almost no tannic structure and not much acid. In the end flabby. Turnbull's 2004 Napa cab was awesome. Will open the 2005 soon. Shoot.

This is a BIG wine. Deep, dark, rich purple color. Lots of spice and a lot going on.. licorice, blackberry, earthy notes followed by a smooth fruit finish. In my young experience of holding wines then drinking (held this one for 3 yrs), this Turnbull Cab was a most pleasant, enjoyable, surprising experience... one that was shared with good friends, a great meal, good conversation and a lasting memory.

Not as big, but still juicy. Nice acidity with integrated tannins and medium finish. Probably as good as it will get.

Big and juicy. Smooth integrated tannins. Medium finish. Nothing too complex but nice nonetheless.
