Popped and poured from a 375ml bottle my wife got as a gift. Generic bourgogne from a big negociant. Clear maroon colour. Initial nose of red fruits, cherries and raspberries gave way to a mild musty odour. Weak and thin on the palate, with slight bitter stems tasted. Didn't like the sour note towards the finish. High acidity.

Not bad for a generic bourgogne from a negociant. The smell was much better than the palate. The nose was classic aged pinot aromas of forest floor and cherries. However, the palate was thin and I found it just too sour.

Nice nose of strawberry jam and raspberry. Rather weak sensation on the palate, fruit without much more. Nice tannins and smooth with unimpressive length. Ok for a casual glass with some chocolates or almonds.

This is truly better French wine. Enjoy. Caramel edge round brick red and nice berry fruit.
