On the nose there's a funk, lemon furniture polish, green almonds & a saliney minerality ~ On the palate it's medium bodied with bracing acidity & flavors of green grass, lime zest, canned mushrooms & a bitter smokiness ~ Overly tart & acidic & just not at all enjoyable

Look: Clear with slt. lemon. Nose: slight - barnyard, sulfur. Body: 1/2 % milk. Taste: Lt. lemon, lt. citrus. Slt. heat on end. Finish: 25 secs. Summary: 87 pts. Fine on own or with food. Better than the Ken Forestor bargain S. African Chenin Blanc.

(12.5%) – 92% Chenin Blanc, 7% Viognier, 1% Sauvignon Blanc – Nice melon/citrus aromas on the nose. The palate is surprisingly smooth with floral notes upfront. Not the cutting acidity you sometimes see but instead a nice mineral, stony backbone that merges with cantaloupe and peach fruit flavors to deliver a crisp, refreshing finish (with hints of nuttiness). An easy drinker that at $10 is well worth the price of entry. Pair it with a flaky, white fish or a sunny fall day on the patio and I’m guessing you’ll be glad you did. An interesting side note on this one is that it comes from 32 year old vines. Rare you see that kind of age at this kind of price point.

Second wine in a GT alumni wine flight, it was crisp with a bit of peach, melon and citris. Was favorably received by 40 people
