Flaw free but fairly simple, with chocolate, pepper and green pepper notes. Tannins dry just a bit. I am guessing this should be consumed in the next year or two, it won't improve and the secondary notes that may develop are unlikely to improve the win.
Very dark in color. N: Dark fruit, tons of oak and licorice. P: Dark fruit, bitter tannins that subsided with a decant and black licorice. F: Medium with medium body and more bitter tannins, black licorice and oak. This was very nice for the price, but IMO, needed a year or two. 90-91
