90-92: very good Yquem, but a little concern as the cork seemed to glide out of the bottle. Overall the wine was going amber, had strong honey notes, but great acidity and viscosity. Not the best I've had, but a great bottle nonetheless.
There was some wet seepage underneath the capsule -- although there was the faintest hint of oxidation, this bottle was in solid shape. Medium amber color, solid backbone of acidity, and a multitude of flavors -- old honey, apricots, vanilla/butterscotch, and so on. Very light on its feet with great balance, really a testament to how this wine ages.
Oxidized -- what a disappointment. I should have known given the honey/amber color. This is the second oxidized bottle out of four that I've opened so far, and this particular one was from a different case.
