In a really great spot. It is it's own thing, this Riesling from the Langhe. Some aged Riesling components, clover honey, and tropical fruits - along with moderate acidity and a certain piedmont-ness. Hard to describe but easy to drink! Rewards attention, but is just as easily sipped alongside some sausages and enjoyed for what it is. Hand carried back from Vajra, but available retail stateside. I could see this getting better, but I'm in no way disappointed I drank my last bottle now. Yum!

Yellow/straw color, on the nose stone fruit and lemon. On the palate slightly sweetish entry, peach, lime and tropical fruit and a hint of almonds. Nice balancing acidity, but very little of the crisp minerality you will find in colder climat rieslings. Not a bad wine as long as German riesling is not your benchmark, much more new world flavours. Not worth the price as I see it.
