Nice everyday wine with aroma of wild fruit. Strong raspberry and black fruit flavor. Low acidity and tannins light bodied wine. At $7.00 a great buy will go out and buy a case you can't go wrong!!!!

Lamb chops: A value wine in price perhaps, but a very good dinner wine at any price, full of nearly sweet dark fruit flavors and a light pepper finish that drys the aftertaste just right. Not the over-ripe, French Syrah, but not just an Austrialian fruit bomb either. Concannon hit this one just right!
Cheese and cracker lunch: A fruit forward delight with no hard edges. Intense ruby-purple color, intense deep plum-cherry-berry flavor, nice light pepper finish. Huge value as table wine or dinner wine.
Finished the bottle with roast chicken supper; not the right match.

Very fruity, almost Pinot like. Not a fan.

Won't change your life, but you can do much worse for <$7. Some varietal correctness and nice balance make this a perfect Tuesday night selection.
