Domaine Weinbach (Cellar Door): Sweet grapey, delicate nose. Wet stones, grapes and a hint of peach in the mouth. Dry finish. Interestingly, Catherine told us that the grapes are gathered in two passes – one for the healthiest fruit to give the acidity and a second five to six days later for more of the fruitiness.

Nose of gardenias, pineapple and petrol. Light bodied spicy peach and apricot flavors with more petrol influence. Not very substantial.

Wine Education Service - Alsace - Domaine Weinbach (Imperial College): Very pale silvery green.
Unmistakable Muscat, very aromatic without being blousy.
Very dry, great balance, fruity but not overpowering, delicate and long.
