Cork is intact, but unusually soft in the middle. Nose of compost, leather, and blackcurrant, with background notes of oak and oxidation. Palate shows intense fruit and acidity (uncomfortably intense at first, but it calms down a bit after a while in the decanter). Strong flavours of blackcurrant and cranberry, with herbal notes of tarragon and rosemary. Sturdy background of tannin, oak, and earth, finishing with notes of leather and black tea. There are some hints of decay and oxidation creeping in, but this is still drinking pretty well at 18 years old.

Dark brick. Attractive stewed plum aroma with hints of fresh raspberry. Sappy red raspberry flavors with a very high alcohol bite. The mourvedre tannins kick in fiercly on the finish.

This wine is ready for drink now, Color show brick and oxidized color alreay, and start to have herb and earth leather nose aside from the fruit and berry. Do not feel too much like a Aussie fruit bomb now. enjoyed it

Lean raspberry and clove with a hint of bitterness on the finish. Drink now with food.
