Much more concentrated and powerful aroma and flavor than other Rivers-Marie that I have had. Red fruit on the nose with good underlying funk/barnyard. Complex in the mouth, with good body, transitioning from cherry through to spice and licorice. More of an opaque garnet color and heavier body than expected of California PN. Held up in the bottle for the next two days.
Bright red fruit profile with some backbone and forest notes underneath. This was drinking very well right now, but I saw no reason this should not be able to continue for several more years given the structure.
