P n P. Brought to Pinot tasting, jammy Cali style. Good integration of flavors. No major flaws. Nice tonight. Still has time. Drink now or hold for short term.

Decanted and brought to room temperature one hour before sitting down to enjoy. Slight mushroom scent on the nose. Ripe black cherries and strawberries in the middle. The finish was long with earthy spicy, and tasty bitter notes. Continued to evolve and improve over a three hour period. Drinking beautifully now and likely for a few more years to come. Enjoyed with pork tenderloin with broccoli and butternut squash.

Drinking beautifully after an hour of air - was shrill, short, and closed immediately after the pour, but opened up to become lushly fruited (black cherry sounds about right) but with more than enough acidity, minerality, and subtle layers of other stuff I didn't observe too closely to provide beautiful balance and interest.

Very good from the first sip. Jammy nose that yells pinot. Fully body, but didnt get any definitive tones. Wonderful taste, but could define the content. The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle.

I've been disappointed recently with a couple of Alysian wines (different vineyards) of the same age--but not this one. It's still quite young and vibrant, yet well integrated, now revealing intriguing secondary notes--not muddy (as my last bottles), but revealing some real complexity. Took about an hour to open. I look forward to the next bottle next year.
