Enjoyed at home with seared pork chops and homemade pancetta mac-and-cheese. Worried that the bottle was past it's prime since it's 9 yrs old and pinots from this region can tend to be light-weight. Fruit held it's own. Wonderful black cherry/raspberry on the palette. Aged nicely. Quality bottle. If you still have a bottle of this, drink it now.

This bottle tastes noticeably better than my previous which makes me wonder if previous bottle was flawed. This wine is not my preferred style of Pinot. It has muted fruit and a short finish, but nothing unpleasant this time.

Drank with the Pink Salmon I caught in Alaska. Had a little bit of cork inversion into the neck of the bottle so was a bit concerned that temp change had affected the wine. Nevertheless, pretty good pinot. Didn't necessarily have that smoothness that I would expect from an aged Pinot. Ruby colored wine with cherry and wood on the nose. Cherry and bright berries and a little bit of earthiness on the palate. All in all a pretty good wine with my salmon.

This is a pinot that doesn't taste like a pinot. Some spice on the pallet but also noticeably hot and alcoholic. The finish was tight and unpleasant.
